The Uncertainty–Absurdity Spiral After U.S.–Israel Strikes on Iran

Approximately one week after the U.S. Supreme Court blocked President Donald Trump’s tariffs—measures he had pursued under a statute intended for national emergencies [1]—the United States and Israel launched a large-scale joint military operation, Operation Epic Fury, against Iran. The domestic political uncertainty surrounding the administration at that moment may have shaped the broader strategic climate in which the decision to undertake military action was made.
According to other analysts and reporters, including CNN [2]:
“Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has been killed after a joint US-Israeli attack that President Donald Trump said was aimed at overturning Tehran’s government.
His death plunges the Middle East into uncertainty, with questions being asked about who will lead the country, how Iran’s proxies will respond and how much more retaliation the US, Israel, and its regional neighbors can expect.”
According to the Uncertainty-Absurdity Mutuality preposition [3], it follows logically that a series of absurd events will unfold following the uncertainty arising in the Middle East, resulting in an uncertainty-absurdity spiral.
Response deceleration from all sides—a strategic and reflective pause that reduces reactive entropy and enables careful examination of underlying distortions—is therefore essential to interrupt the uncertainty–absurdity spiral.
